SENIORS
Seniors Following the desire of many senior members of our Jain community to form an Association, a general meeting of Senior members was called in 1997, when it was unanimously decided to form a Jain Senior Association under the umbrella of Jain Center. The object of the Association is to organize the religious, cultural, educational and social functions for the senior and other members of our society. The Association will also maintain and enhance the religious and cultural heritage, and seek better understanding of Jain doctrine and beliefs, and organize various programs to celebrate Jain festivals and events. It will also seek better understanding among members and friendly relationship, and make good use of knowledge and experience of Senior members. Every effort shall be made to solve personal or general problems to ensure a happy merry living.
The membership of the Association is open to all Jain members who are 50 years or above. At the moment there are 55 members. All seniors are requested to become a member and participate in all the activities organized by the Association.
